A Lullaby for Little Ones, from those Gods among us that protect our own.
As I lay my head to rest
I close my eyes, I’ve done my best
Not another have I blamed
Or in my actions been ashamed
I snuggle down into my bed
Indulged myself, my passions fed
I’ve toiled long for me and mine
Nary a thought for the unkind
The darkness closes o’er my mind
My dreams now come, old friends of mine
No good or evil will I find
My pride will suffer no such bind
Praise I now give to those I love
As my breath shallows, my will be done
In this my life, my only one
My Is To Be, or Kingdom Come
